ONLINE PAYMENTS PAYMENTS<p>​By now students should have received a letter home with the code for online payment of activities or subs, etc.  The letter home will explain the steps.  We hope this adds convience to our families.</p>

Permission forms for the runs next week should be given to Mrs. Lougheed.</p><p>Students in grades 4, 5 or 6 interested in joining friendship patrol please sign up on the sheet outside the computer lab.  Be a friend!</p><p>Basketball practice today 1st recess for grade 5 boys only.  </p><p> </p>

Parent involvement is important to your child's growth and development. As the fall approaches, we are looking for new members of council to help keep Mountain View the amazing school that it is, by moving forward with school council events of the past and achieving future goals. As we enter into a new school year, we invite you to come out and see the various ways you can become involved in your child's school.</p><p><strong><em>Monday, September 26, 2016 (at 7:00 pm in the library)</em></strong> is our initial school council meeting and at this time we will be looking for new parents to fill spots on council, as well as establishing committees for this year. </p><p>Come out and see how you can become involved. A small commitment makes a huge difference in our school community. You should have received an email with the meeting agenda attached. Thursday September 22, 2016 Announcements September 22, 2016 Announcements<p>​Happy Birthday Mason</p><p>Jr. Girls basketball tryout at 1st break.  Eat for 10 minutes then go to the gym with proper footwear.</p><p>Those students who applied for a leadership posiition will be contacted for an interview by the end of the week.  For all other students who wish to sign up to be part of these teams, there are new sign up sheets on the leadership board.  Please sign up during break times.  </p><p>The mountie cross country runners had an amazing start to their season at the "Cameron Fun Run" last night.  All runners tried their best and finished strong with the spirited support of their teammates.  Way to go!</p><p>There is a cross country practice today at 2nd break eating portion.  Lunch will be in Mr. Larmers room.</p><p> </p><p>Junior students in grades 4,5 or 6 interested in joining friendship patrol please sign your name, grade and teacher's name on the sign upp sheet outside the computer lab.  Be a friend!  Sign up for the friendship patrol.</p><p> </p>
Wednesday September 21, 2016 Announcements September 21, 2016 Announcements<p>​Happy Birthday Jack!</p><p>Boys basketball try out for Grade 4 and 6 boys at 1st nutrition break.  Eat for 10 min then meet in gym.  Grade 5 boys will be on Friday.</p><p>​Mrs. Aikens would like to meet with the Grade 7 sports intramural leaders during outside portion of 2nd nutrition break in her office.<br></p><p>No cross country practice today.  Good luck to all of the runners participating in the Cameron Fun Run after school.</p>
